Okay, MY blood sugar sucks. I had my 1 hour glucose tolerance test today and failed it. Add to that the fact that LTN4 is measuring about two weeks big, and you have reason to be concerned. But the ultimate test comes on Monday, when I go in for the three-hour fasting test. Apparently, a glucose level above 130 mg/dL (that's milligrams per deciliter for those of you who don't Google as well as I do) is an indication that further review of the blood glucose level is needed. My level was 146 mg/dL. So, on Monday morning, poor Tom has to take off work and shuttle children to and fro while I sit in the doctor's office for three hours and get my blood drawn every hour. Oh, and I can't eat or drink for 8 hours before the test, and for the whole 3 hours of the test. So, imagine how hungry LTN4 and I will be when it's all over.

Ah, well, as my sister pointed out, whatever happens, I just need to do what it takes to take care of LTN4 and myself. It's just fun to complain.
